Youngsters at a Redditch nursery are going caterpillar crazy to help raise funds for charity with a special wiggle walk.
Bright Kids nursery in Crabbs Cross is taking part in the Giant Wiggle – a nationwide event to raise funds for Action for Children.
Over three years more than 2,400 Giant Wiggle events have taken place across the UK, with 110,500 children joining The Very Hungry Caterpillar fun.
On Friday the nursery will be doing the walk, and taking part in a range of activities, as manager Anita Shepherd explained.
“The children will be walking to the local park, and for the day they will wear bright, colourful clothes, similar to those seen in The Very Hungry Caterpillar story,” she said.
“They will be decorating pictures of caterpillars and butterflies and spending time in the garden we have here at nursery.
“We are always big supporters of the Giant Wiggle as we encourage the children to be active and get outdoors, and Action for Children is a great charity to support as well.”
