Last week we celebrated #WorldBookDay πŸ“š

All children enjoyed dressing in their favourite characters from their favourite books πŸ“• We spent the day reading all the books the children had brought in from home 🏠 and we did lots of exciting activities, such as;
β€’ Snail 🐌 and The Whale 🐳 tuff tray, which had lots of sensory, opportunities to get messy and act out the story.
β€’ Superworm πŸͺ± the children learnt about the difference between long and short πŸ“ as well as recognising number πŸ”’ and using their fine motor skills to roll out the play dough ☁️
β€’ Room on the Broom 🧹 this gave the children opportunity to take part in different science experiments, like the witch πŸ§™β€β™€οΈ
β€’ The Smartest Giant in Town πŸ§πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ whilst reading through the book, children got to use the props to act out the story.
β€’ Children also got to create their very own book cover 🎨

Everyone looked amazing and we all had so much fun πŸ’›
