Studley Holiday Club

Studley Holiday Club Studley Easter Holiday Club 2024

Bright Kids Activity Club is running at our Crabbs Cross Nursery the Easter holidays from Monday 25th March to Wednesday 27th March and Tuesday 2nd April to Friday 5th April in order to support parent needs during half-term. We are closed on Thursday 28th March for staff training, and also Friday 29th March and Monday 1st April for the bank holidays.

We will offer a warm, safe, stimulating and creative environment during the school holiday (all risk assessed). The youngest age we accept for our holiday clubs is 4.

Activities are planned to meet both the developmental and individual needs of the children and include arts & crafts, sport, music, stories, reading and physical play. Children will also have the opportunity to improve their computer competence with our PC and its regularly updated software.

During each day there will be time for both indoor and outdoor play and refreshments will be served at regular intervals. If hot or packed lunches are required these can be bought for £4.00 per day.

*** Please bring in spare clothes every day – it could get very messy on some days!!

All new children to the club are introduced and we have a group talk about our ‘club rules’ and the routines that take place. Each week has a general theme and there will be many and varied activities during each week based on this, some of these are outlined below.

There will be plenty of time for Outside Play incorporating Team Games in our extensive garden area. We also undertake trips out to various local amenities

Week 1

Theme – Easter

We will be making Easter nests, chick biscuits, Easter baskets and eggs, and taking part in a card design competition.

Week 2

Theme – Outdoor week

We will be decorating plant pots and taking part in parachute games in the field . We will also be making picnic boxes and competing in an assault course with various obstacles including bean bags, hoops, canes and skipping ropes.

Plenty of Outdoor Play and Outdoor Activities will be available weather permitting! (Spare clothes are needed throughout the week and don’t forget warm coats, waterproofs and wellies).
Existing club activities will also be available during this time so your child can still practice their computer skills or play board games if they wish. We plan to try to visit the local parks and other facilities, numbers allowing.

In order to secure your place at any of our school holiday clubs you will need to complete a Registration Form and request your sessions. We will then contact you to confirm school holiday Club availability and start dates.
