Staff at a Bright Kids nursery are getting a pat on the back after dads and grandads gave them the thumbs-up for their Father’s Day celebrations.
It was a day to make the men feel special and staff at the Crabbs Cross setting pulled out all the stops during their special Father’s Day craft morning.
Dads and grandads took part in a range of activities including painting, sensory activities and a story time session.
They were the guests of honour on the day and Crabbs Cross deputy manager Lorraine Ashford said the children loved having their dads and grandads with them for the morning.
“The children do these activities every day, but the Father’s Day morning gave them the chance to show their dads and grandads what they could do,” she said.
“Our guests had a lot of fun and we have had some great feedback afterwards. It was lovely to see the men getting involved, and the children enjoyed making them feel special for the morning.”
