Recent News about Bright Eyes

I want to reassure all our parents that the recent news about safeguarding at the nursery called Bright Eyes is in no way connected to our own nursery group – Bright Kids.

Here at Bright Kids we are as shocked as everyone to have something like this happen so close to home, and we are supporting the parents and families affected by offering short or longer term places if required. We stand by our reputation of offering good quality, safe childcare to our local communities. We do not skimp on anything where safeguarding is concerned, its not only about the pre-checks on individuals who you employ, its about having the right policies and procedures and more importantly working practices that follow these. This is the only way to ensure true safeguarding and we have an environment that ensures our team members challenge each other and their superiors at all times in areas connected to safeguarding. We are proud of our ‘Outstanding’ rating in safeguarding from Ofsted at our nurseries and clubs and it is not easily achieved.

If you have any concerns at all I urge you to talk to your Manager or to myself and come along to visit us to see for yourself.
