Cooking Up a Feast in Northfield

Flavoursome fun has been had at one Bright Kids holiday club as children have been putting their culinary skills into action. Youngsters attending the Wigwam Out of School and Holiday Club have been learning about restaurants and cooking this week, and have even been out on a trip to see local eateries in action. The Year of the Rooster is about to begin, and children at the Bright Kids Nursery in Northfield are preparing for the festivities. It's all change at one Bright Kids nursery as new staff are welcomed, and they wish good luck to two members who go on maternity leave. A Crafty Christmas for Bright Kids

Parents and children put their artistic skills into action at a Christmas Workshop, organised by staff at the Bright Kids setting in Northfield. Glue, glitter, coloured paper and candles were used to make some wonderful creations including angels and Christmas trees. Special wreath for St Laurence Church

A church in Northfield has thanked youngsters and staff at a Bright Kids nursery for their handmade wreath of poppies. Children at the setting on Norman Road in Northfield had been busy making the wreath to remember the soldiers who had fought during the different wars. Animals make a bee-line for two Bright Kids nurseries

Children saw their nursery turned into a mini zoo when animals ranging from owls and rabbits to lizards and snakes descended for a day. Youngsters at two Bright Kids nurseries enjoyed a visit from Animals in Hands when they were able to get up close and hold a selection of animals.
