Charmaine Leach

Charmaine Leach Charmaine Leach has been a dedicated professional in the Early Years field for over 30 years. She started her journey at the age of 17 as a volunteer. Her commitment to this sector reflects her deep passion for nurturing young children and ensuring they receive a strong foundation. Her career began with volunteering at a nursery local to her. She later completed her Level 3 qualification, and continued training to gain her Foundation Degree in Early Years, a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management, and a Level 3 Award in Education and Training.

Throughout her career, Charmaine Leach spent 20 years in management roles within the Early Years sector. This has taken her to various settings across the West Midlands, including Children’s Centres, where she had the experience of working with a huge variety of children including vulnerable and disadvantaged children and families. These experiences have driven her commitment to offering the best learning opportunities to every child.

Currently, Charmaine is the Early Years Manager in the Bright Kids group of nurseries, as part of the strategic team. Her role is primarily focused on ensuring high-quality teaching and learning and leading on special educational needs. She has worked for Bright Kids for almost 10 years.

Charmaine’s passion lies in supporting, training and sharing her expertise with fellow practitioners. Her ultimate goal is to positively impact as many children’s lives as possible by providing them with excellent care and education.

As an Early Years Manager, strategic team member and MBK trainer and consultant, Charmaine’s role involves supporting and developing teams of practitioners who share her passion for quality childcare. She takes great satisfaction in passing on her knowledge and experiences to staff teams, helping them grow their expertise and contribute to the future of the profession.
