A barbecue, stalls and games will draw in the crowds at a Summer Fete planned for families in Studley. The annual event at the Bright Kids Nursery in Studley is open to everyone in the local community, and is popular with children at the nursery who come along with their parents and grandparents to take part in the activities.
The nursery will be holding the event on Sunday July 31st at their setting in Briarwood, The Slough from 11am to 1pm. Among the highlights on the day will be face painting, a bouncy castle, cake sale and stalls such as hook-a-duck.
Manager of the nursery, Charmaine Leach, said: “We are keeping our fingers crossed that the weather stays warm and dry as we have a really fun day planned.
“There will be lots for the children to do and parents can take part in the tombola and raffle, or have a go at guess how many sweets are in the jar.”
Any money raised on the day will go towards nursery funds and there will be a chance to win a range of prizes.
