Children at Bright Kids Studley have been enjoying story telling and storybook adventures this week as they immerse themselves in the pages of some of the best books around.
Tots in the Sunbeams and Shining Lights room have been enjoying stories and themed activities based on a different book each day.
On Monday, the children heard all about the Gruffalo before making masks, cutting and sticking and completing take-home question and answer sheets about the story with their parents, while on Tuesday, after reading We’re Going On A Bear Hunt, they did indeed go on a bear hunt before enjoying sensory play and making paper plate bears.
Other books being enjoyed this week are The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Dinosaur Stomp.
