Roald Dahl Day at Crabbs Cross

Children at Crabbs Cross enjoyed learning all about one of the most popular children’s authors of all time from 8th-12th September, to celebrate Roald Dahl Day (Saturday 13th September).

They took part in craft activities linked to his books including creating a junk model crocodile (The Enormous Crocodile),  brewing their own potions (George’s Marvellous Medicine), making fox masks (Fantastic Mr Fox) and honeycomb making (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory).

Children also took part in group discussions focused on the importance of reading and taking care of books and learning about how books can develop their imaginations.
