Welcome to Wigwam Out of School Club. I am Shelly Smith the Club Co-ordinator here at the Wychall School Out of School Club
I have been working at the Wigwam Out of School Club for 5 years. However I have been working in childcare for 17 years. I have a gained a wide knowledge and also experiences working with children from birth to fifteen over the years. I hold both Level 2 & 3 qualifications in Childcare and Education and a Level 3 in First Line Management.
I’ve always had a passion to work with children from an early age. I enjoy being part of watching them learn, grow, develop, progress and be prepared for whatever their future holds. I’ve always been dedicated to making sure that the environment is Safe and Secure to give parents peace of mind. I aim to guarantee the best quality of care for your child. This is based on the passion we have for nurturing and developing your child.
I strive to make sure that club has a relaxed atmosphere where not only the children feel relaxed and at home but the parents and carers do too whilst having fun. The most rewarding part of the job is when a child, wants to stay, or a parent tells you all they have talked about is Club or when are they coming back
