We’re raising money for a Defibrillator at each of our three Nurseries as well as a Public Use Defibrillator in the centre of Studley.
Did you know that each year between 80,000 and 120,000 people suffer a cardiac arrest in a public place in the UK?
Cardiac arrest can affect anyone, even children.
Speedy defibrillation saves lives.
The only definitive treatment for a victim of Cardiac Arrest is effective CPR and early defibrillation, which must be administered within 3-5 minutes following collapse. This boosts survival chances from 6% to 74%.
The amount we’re trying to raise is £3250, this will fund the equipment and installation.
WE NEED YOUR HELP
We’re raising money to have an onsite defibrillator at our three Nurseries in Studley, Redditch and Northfield. We are also raising money to have a Public Access Defibrillator in the heart of Studley. This would be accessible 24/7 to the local community. All defibrillators would be automatic and therefore no specific training is needed to use the machines as it does most of the work.
There is no doubting that a defibrillator can only be a good addition for our nurseries and the local community.
