Anyone for tea?

Children at Bright Kids Crabbs Cross enjoyed national story telling week with a host of fun learning activities.

Shining Light tots have been getting into the spirit of Anyone For Tea?, bringing in their own

favourite stories in to share with other children, acting out scenes from them and enjoying a variety of crafts, including vegetable printing and making a giant Hungry Caterpillar.

This week, a guest story teller will visit the nursery to share their own favourite children’s books.

The out of school club Supernovas children are also participating in a story making competition, creating their very own stories for the chance to win a toy voucher. The winners will be announced later this week.

The story theme will continue next month when staff and children mark National Book Day on March 5th by dressing up as their favourite characters and celebrate their love of books
