Hibah Afzal aged 4 and Feyikemi Jokomba Badmus aged 3 enjoy the celebrations

Youngsters at Bright Kids Crabbs Cross enjoyed a cultural day exploring Chinese heritage as they celebrated the Year of the Monkey.

Children at the nursery spent a week designing their own Chinese dragons from recyclable materials, making Spring rolls and taking part in role-play.

The youngsters also listened to Chinese music and took part in discussions about the culture and the celebrations, while tasting Chinese dishes and enjoying craft activities, including making monkey masks!
