Welcome to the Bright Kids Nurseries Northfield nursery, based in the south of the City of Birmingham. Our first 'city' nursery is well-positioned close to local schools and amenities and is situated within a pair of spacious semi-detached Victorian houses which provide ample space for the children to be cared for in their small groups. This, our fourth setting, was acquired in August 2004 and a full programme of refurbishment was undertaken.

Since becoming part of the Bright Kids Group the nursery has been re-registered by Ofsted in order to allow us to accomodate Out of School Club children. We now have a busy Breakfast & After School Club operating to serve local schools and children can be taken or collected from schools within walking distance. The introduction of our own trasport from September 2009 will see the inclusion of additional schools in our Before and After School Clubs. Holiday clubs are open to all children, whatever school they attend, during all school holidays and for occasional school closure days.

Northfield's excellent outdoor space has recently been completely refurbished. There are now defined areas for climbing, growing, creative play along with the traditional hard-play surfaces. This 'all-weather' outdoor area ensures access is possible all-year round and with a mini-forest school planned for the future, this will become a 'natural-haven' within the city.

The nursery provides childcare from 7:30am-6:00pm and flexible and part-time hours can be arranged where required. There is a small drop-off area on the nursery forecourt and plenty of on-road parking for your convenience.We are only 10 minutes from Northfield Station. Visits are welcome at anytime although we do ask you to book if between 11:30am-2:00pm. To arrange a visit please call our Manager Kellie, or her Deputy, Caron.
