CC1 first aidThe First Aid training course held at Bright Kids Crabbs Cross this week has been hailed a success.

The nursery hosted the event on Tuesday evening, providing parents with the advice and knowledge they may need in the event of a household emergency.

Among the situations addressed were the best way to treat burns, what to do in the event of illness, and how to conduct effective infant CPR.

CC2 First Aid Manager Anita Shepherd said: “This was a great opportunity for people to either refresh their existing First Aid knowledge, or to benefit from guidance on how to handle an emergency. The feedback we’ve had has been very positive and we’ll certainly consider running another course in the future.”
CC4 first aidKirsty Lee Green, who attended the course, said she found the training very useful: “I have never done First Aid before and now I feel more confident that I could help others, and my children, if an accident happened. It is so important – it may even save a life.”
